No. As a clinical record is a secure and legal document, only the user who rendered a service to a client can sign off on the patient record. If you have a second user attempt to login with the same details, the user signed in on the first device will be automatically signed out of the app. This feature protects you as the clinician.
Downloading the app means that the Ipad app is native to the device. Unlike web-based software, a native app is more responsive to the user making it more realistic and easier to use. The iPad pen allows you to write as you would on paper with ease. Having drawing capability on a web-page only does not give you the best and accurate experience of writing.
No. The PC or Mac-based web-app is not designed to be written on. Using a mouse cursor to write on a body chart is not responsive in the truest sense and detracts from the user experience. The web-based app allows you to do everything the iPad does, except draw.
The data is stored on Amazon servers. There is a copy always stored locally eg. Australia and also copies in major continents. The data is encrypted and patient name is de-identified with their clinical notes. Rest assured your data is safe and easily accessible.
