Below you will find some of the most common questions about ClinikNote patient management software. If you can’t find what you are looking for, you can contact us and we will do what we can to help.
Which internet browser should I use?
You can use any up-to-date web-browser. We always recommend you keep your browser updated for the best experience with the web-app.
Do you offer a free trial so I can test the app?
Yes. ClinikNote is always free for the first month.
This gives you plenty of opportunities to upload your templates, design your own templates and take clinical notes easily your way.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. There are no lock-in contracts.
If for any reason you do not wish to use the app, you can simply download or print all your patient records. Once you cease paying your subscription you will cease to have access to the app. If you wish to cancel you must do so prior to the date of your next billing cycle.
When will my credit card be billed?
You credit card will be billed on the monthly anniversary of the date you signed up to the app.
Where are my details stored?
Your credit card details and personal information is stored securely on our STRIPE payment gateway. Your details are not accessible by anyone and your email and personal details will not be given to third parties.
Do I need to download the app?
Yes. You can download the app from the apple app store.
You cannot access using the iPad app or the web-app until you sign up and create an account.
Do I have to pay extra from the web-based app?
No. Your monthly subscription includes access to both the iPad and the web-based app. You use the same login details to access them.
Are the login details the same for the Ipad app and Web?
Yes. You use the same logins for the app and web.
Can I have multiple logins with my user details?
No. As a clinical record is a secure and legal document, only the user who rendered a service to a client can sign off on the patient record. If you have a second user attempt to login with the same details, the user signed in on the first device will be automatically signed out of the app. This feature protects you as the clinician.
Why do I have to download the app?
Downloading the app means that the Ipad app is native to the device. Unlike web-based software, a native app is more responsive to the user making it more realistic and easier to use. The iPad pen allows you to write as you would on paper with ease. Having drawing capability on a web-page only does not give you the best and accurate experience of writing.
Can I write on the web-based app?
YES. The PC or Mac-based web-app is another way to write on a drawing template. You can use a mouse to write non a drawing template and also use it just like any touch screen app where you can use two fingers too zoom in and out and pan and one finger to draw. You can also draw with a stylus.
You may prefer this method of drawing on a template over the iPad APP. The choice is yours.
Where is the patient data stored?
The data is stored on Amazon servers. There is a copy always stored locally eg. Australia and also copies in major continents. The data is encrypted and patient name is de-identified with their clinical notes. This a major requirement for HIPAA and GDPR compliance. Rest assured your data is safe and easily accessible.
Your app doesn’t have all the features I need?
Great. Please let us know in the feedback and suggestions email section. We promise that if people request it, we will add it. When we have a new feature coming, we will add it to our upcoming features section! Our promise is that this app will let you take clinical notes the way you are used to. You practice, your way.
