How to sign off on notes

As the clinician signed into Cliniknote, any note created by you is recorded as created by you. Only you can add to the note, edit the note and sign off on the note.

Once you have completed a note and are happy the note is completed in full, hit the unlocked lock button. A pop up will appear asking you to confirm to sign off and lock the note.

This will then lock the note and turn the lock green. You can also unlock and edit a note by clicking the lock button to unlock it.

You can then continue to edit and work on that note. Please note that only the clinician who created the note can edit their own note. No other user can edit another clinicians note. Any edit is timestamped as being edited.
